National Malayalee Soccer League

The Round Rock Multipurpose Complex welcomes the National Malayalee Soccer League, August 4 – 6.

The North American Malayalee Soccer League is organizing the 2nd Annual V. P. Sathyan Memorial Tournament. This tournament is a significant event for the Malayalee community in North America and aims to honor the memory of V. P. Sathyan, a renowned Indian footballer.

The tournament will feature nine clubs representing major cities from across North America. These teams will compete against each other in a series of soccer matches. The matches will follow the traditional 11 v 11 formats. This format allows for a full-sized playing field, creating an exciting and challenging environment for the players.

In addition to the main tournament, the hosting team will organize a separate contest for players aged 35 and above. This tournament will follow a 7 v 7 format. The 35+ game has attracted 12 teams, further highlighting the interest and participation of older players within the Malayalee community.

The North American Malayalee Soccer League invites all soccer enthusiasts, especially those who identify as Malayalee, to attend this premier soccer tournament. It is an opportunity for individuals to witness high-level competition, celebrate the sport, and engage with the vibrant Malayalee community.
