What You’ll Learn
The focus of this training program is listed as follows:
Improve speed and speed endurance
Increase balance and stability
Increase power and acceleration
This program is available to athletes ages 8-14, across all sports, that have the urge to enhance their overall speed.
What to Expect
This program will focus on first step movements, running mechanics and form technique to support each athlete in developing more overall speed and applying that speed to their respective sport. Classes will be held outside, proper attire for the elements is highly recommended. If the class should be canceled for inclement weather, you will be informed of the cancellation and a make-up class will be scheduled.
Specialty: Strength & Conditioning
We are thrilled to announce Kwame Cavil as our head coach for strength and conditioning classes at the Round Rock Sports Center. Coach Cavil played D1 collegiate football at the University of Texas at Austin and was awarded Outstanding Wide Receiver, MVP-Offense, First Team All-Conference, and more during his career. He then went on to play in the NFL, NFLEU and CFL. Most recently, Coach Cavil has discovered his passion for training and mentoring young athletes through his coaching career in high school level athletics and his current personal training business. His goal is to equip youth with the knowledge needed to build a strong foundation for an ultimately successful athlete! Coach Cavil is excited to join the RRSC team and looks forward to training with all of you!
